Currently, United Overseas Bank Limited (UOB Group) are operating in Vietnam in the form of foreign bank owned branch with our name as United Overseas Bank, Hochiminh City Branch. According to the approval of the State Bank of Vietnam on the establishment of 100% foreign owned subsidiary of UOB Group, which is United Overseas Bank (Vietnam) Limited, and on the take-over of assets and liabilities of United Overseas Bank, Hochiminh City Branch by the newly set up subsidiary, we are performing the transfer of assets and liabilities from our current Branch (including accounts, deposits, loans, facilities granted to the customers as well as customers, contractual relationship, counter-party relationship) to the subsidiary.

Generally, the transfer will not affect customer’s rights and obligations under the relevant contracts with the bank. United Overseas Bank (Vietnam) Limited shall take over all rights and obligations of our current Branch in relevant contracts with customers after the transfer, and you will bank and perform your obligations with United Overseas Bank (Vietnam) Limited as from 2/7/2018.
